USPTR Programs & Instruction lead by John Kratzke, Director of Tennis
In addition to outstanding facilities, Hidden Creek offers USPTR programs and instruction led by well-known and highly regarded Director of Tennis John Kratzke. Since 1997, John has worked with the most successful tennis professionals in the region and his background in biomechanics and sports physiology is vital to many of his students. John has taught 4 year-olds to 84 year-olds to enjoy the sport and spend more time on the court. John competed in junior national tournaments, college varsity tennis, and continues to compete as a USTA 5.0 level player, John finished 2019 ranked #8 nationally in the USTA 45 and over age group.
Craig Anderson, Director of Junior Tennis
Craig and John work together to offer an unmatched tennis academy experience! Players achieve success in regional and national tournaments as they develop toward collegiate tennis.
Michael Retta, Assistant Director of Junior Tennis
Michael brings both personal and professional experience with the highest levels of competitive tennis! He played for Vanderbilt University before beginning his coaching career that has already included working with several professional players.
Sam Shroder, Director of Beginner Tennis
Sam has an unmatched passion for tennis! Players cannot help but enjoy their time on court with his energy and excitement to see players improve!
Brandon Hall, Tennis Professional
Brandon enjoys working with all ages and levels - from young juniors to beginner adults to high level juniors! He is sure to have some tips for anyone!
